Family dedication
Located just 2 km from the village of Pinhão, Quinta de Val da Figueira is located in one of the areas that produces the best grapes for Port and Douro DOC wines. Owned by the same family for four generations, it was founded in the mid-18th century and is marked on James Forrester's famous 1848 map of the Douro River.

Quinta de Val da Figueira Vintage Port 2016
Displays an almost opaque colour at the centre with a short violet rim. Great aromatic intensity with plenty of red fruit. In the mouth it’s full-bodied, with firm tannins very well integrated with the fruit, balanced and very elegant. Very complex and long finish. Pairs well with blue cheese, dark chocolate, and rich desserts.
Quinta de Val da Figueira 10 Years Old Port
Displays a tawny colour. Nose of medium intensity, showing dried fruits, caramelized orange peel and slight balsamic. In the mouth reveals crisp acidity, medium body, with flavours of apricot and dried figs. Long finish with a spicy character. Serve slightly chilled. Excellent paired with cheeses and chocolate desserts.

Quinta de Val da Figueira has 16 hectares of vineyards and 19 hectares of olive groves, orchards, woodland, and the fig trees that give the estate its name. The vineyards span several altitudes, exposures, and a wide diversity of native varieties, allowing us to produce grapes of outstanding quality for crafting truly exceptional wines.
